Laughing Together is a division of Wellness Together, Inc. (“Wellness Together,” “we,” or “us”). This

policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide to us when

you visit this website (“Website”), or use any other website or application of Wellness Together, and our

practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This policy applies to information we collect:

● On this Website.

● Through our mobile and desktop applications which provide dedicated non-browser-based

interaction between you and this Website.

● In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and this Website.

It does not apply to information collected by:

● Us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by Company or

any third party; or

● Any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may

link to or be accessible from or through the Website.

use our Website. By accessing or using this Website, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy

Health Information

Through our websites or services, you may provide us with certain personal and medical information

about yourself (“Health Information”). The confidentiality of your Health Information obtained in

connection with counseling is described in the Informed Consent to Counseling Services that is executed

by you or your parent or guardian prior to Wellness Together’s counseling service. For information on our

privacy practices with respect to your Health Information, please review our Notice of Privacy Practices.

The Informed Consent, Notice of Privacy Practices, and other notices are referred to herein as the “Other

Privacy Documents”. Please refer to such Other Privacy Documents to understand how Wellness

Together uses, protects, and in limited cases may disclose, your Health Information. Those documents

also describe certain rights you have with respect to your Health Information.

Donor Information

Wellness Together is committed to respecting the privacy of its donors, whether the donation is made

online, by mail, or any other method. When you make a donation, you provide your name and contact

information. Financial donors provide standard payment information including, in many circumstances,

credit card data.

We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ personally identifiable information with any other entity,

except as described below. Wellness Together may have vendors that assist with processing and managing

donations and donor data. To the extent any donations are processed through such vendors, donor

information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

Other Personal Information

Wellness Together collects and stores information related to you when you visit this site. Such

information may include the following usage data: (1) the domain name from which you access the

Internet; (2) the date and time you access the Website (3) the pages or screens you visit; (4) the address of

any website from which you linked directly to Wellness Together; (5) the name and release number of

your web browser software; (6) the version of the Wellness Together web services you are using; and (7)

the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the client device you are using.

Wellness Together also collects information provided directly by you, such as (1) information that you

provide by filling in forms on the site (including information provided at the time of registering to use the

site or requesting services); (2) records and copies of your correspondence including e-mail addresses, if

you contact us; (3) details of transactions you carry out through the site and any financial information

provided in connection any transaction; and (4) your responses to surveys that we might ask you to

complete for research purposes.

Payment Information

Payment for any events or conferences made through WellnessTogether.org and any information

regarding this payment will not be retained.

Protection of Other Personal Information

We will take commercially reasonable steps to protect your Other PI from loss, misuse, and unauthorized

access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Please understand, however, that no security system is

impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the databases of your Institution with

which we may share such Information, nor can we guarantee Other PI you supply will not be intercepted

while being transmitted over the Internet. In particular, communications posted on message boards or sent

to us via e-mail may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what

information to post or send.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have

created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

● Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser

cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note

that some parts of this site may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

● Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your email address/contact

information used by the Company to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you

can opt-out by clicking “Unsubscribe” at the bottom company publications.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising.

However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected

or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising

Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s website.

California Residents

As a nonprofit corporation, Wellness Together is exempt from certain privacy regulations, such as the

California Consumer Privacy Act. However, Wellness Together takes data privacy very seriously and is

committed to implementing and complying with privacy best practices and will help our members,

customers, and other individual users exercise their privacy rights as appropriate.

Wellness Together may collect information that identifies, relates to or could reasonably be linked to you.

Subject to the limitations noted above we may, collect and share Personal Information for Wellness

Together’s business purposes stated herein.

With respect to your Personal Information:

● You may request information about Wellness Together’s collection of your personal information

● You may request the deletion of personal information (subject to certain exceptions), and

● We acknowledge and agree that we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of the

foregoing rights.

You may make a request by submitting a request to us at our contact information listed below. We may

require you to provide sufficient information to verify your identity before processing such request. You

may also authorize a person to make such requests on your behalf.

Wellness Together Service Providers

Wellness Together uses service, online software, storage, and other providers (collectively “Service

Providers”) which may have access to Other Personal Information. Such companies may include Google

and Simple Practice. Wellness Together enters into Business Associate Agreements (“BAA”) with each

such service provider which obligate such service providers to adhere to the Privacy Rule under the U.S.

Health Information Privacy Protection Act in connection with the use and storage of Health Information

and PI.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You may send us an email at info@wellnesstogether.org to request access to, correct or delete any

personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by

also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe

the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Changes to our Privacy Policies

WellnessTogether.org may amend the Other Privacy Documents and this Privacy Policy at any time, and

only the current documents and statement may be deemed effective. The current release date of this

Privacy Policy will be displayed at the bottom of the final page of this policy. Regardless of later updates

or changes to the Other Privacy Documents or this Privacy Policy, we will never use the information you

submit under our current privacy notice in a manner inconsistent with the immediately prior release of

such documents or statement without first providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prevent

that use.

It is our policy to notify our users that the privacy policy has been updated on the site homepage. If we

make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, we will notify you by email to the

primary e-mail address specified in your account and/or through a notice on the site home page. You are

responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for your, and for

periodically visiting our site and this privacy policy to check for any changes.
